You may be asking: Who is Sam? Is he all that I dreamed he might be?
The answer is an unequivocal “yes.” I live in Langley, a smallish suburb of Vancouver. I’m currently the Director of Communications for a non-profit called International China Concern. We work primarily with kids in China who have been abandoned by their families because of mental or physical disabilities.

Before that, I was Director, Creative Services for a high-tech marketing start-up that was focused on the mobile phone space. It was a long shot that didn’t pan out.
I set out to be an actor and a musician but couldn’t keep the business head from rearing up. I somehow stumbled into graphic design and communications, working for both large multinationals and small businesses. I found out that I was pretty good at it. I’ve worked on political campaigns at local, provincial and federal levels. I’m 4 for 5, so I guess I’m OK at that, too. And I help run a blog called Langley Politics Dotcom.
Anything else, you’ll have to figure out as you read this space.
