So a friend of mine is starting a company and he asked me to talk a little about blogging.  I’ve been off and on with this blog for years.  But I am partners with my good friend Jordan Bateman, a Langley Township councillor, in another blog that is pretty popular and that I’m really proud of.  It’s called Langley Politics Dotcom and I’m pretty sure that it was one of the very first political blogs out there.  I’m not saying it was the first, but I’m sure there weren’t a whole lot of them out there when we got ours up and running.

Now, there are thousands of blogs that talk politics.  Whether it’s one person, small grassroots organizations or big media outlets, you can find a blog that talks about politics that affects your life.

Jordan and I discovered that the blog was an amazing tool to connect with voters and residents in Langley.  We also think it was one of the reasons that Jordon topped the polls, beating the next councillor by over 3,500 votes.  I’ll stop talking and let you watch…
